Introducing Choice Cuts

On walking the walk while talking the talk

At the end of 2023 I spent days mulling over what I wanted to call in and what I wanted to reject in 2024. Then I spent hours curating it down into this concise In/Out list, a la everybody else.

One of my biggest “outs” for 2024 was the girlification of womanhood. The seemingly never ending bit that “I’m just a girl” and only proficient in “Girl Math.” We spend so much more of our lives being adults than children, I thought, why are we wanting to regress?

Well imagine my surprise, dear reader, when I realized that my very own Substack was called Girl Online. I made it as a 24 year old woman. I am now a 27 year old woman. So consider this a re-introduction.

Welcome to Choice Cuts - the idea here is that I am giving you the best that I’ve got. I’m standing behind my metaphorical butchers counter and giving you the choice cuts - things I believe are worthy of my thought and your eyeballs.
